The COAX Team was excited to meet its new client TAXO'D. TAXO'D is the only end-to-end financial solution designed solely for the self-employed. Using the TAXO'D app, anyone can manage and record their transactions on the go, and TAXO'D shows how much tax is owed in real-time.

User scan even file their tax returns directly with HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs). The user does not have to use green forms or endure the additional costs or help from an accountant.

The TAXO’D platform was a revolution for enabling the self-employed and micro-businesses to have access to quickly and easily perform tax self-assessments. The platform helps the self-employed by bringing together people, accounting, and other options. The app meets the regulatory approval of both the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and the HMRC.

TAXO'D is a brilliant platform that makes many financial tasks complete. It uses beautifully intuitive and straightforward software that can be used directly by self-employed workers or micro-businesses. It can even be used with assistance from accountants, purchased directly, or used via third-party professional service organizations.

TAXO’D automates mundane bookkeeping tasks by utilizing the new Open Banking Services. The application uses OCR technology that automatically extracts data from paper or e-receipts then auto-reconciles the expenses or payments with the business bank account.

Opportunity Presented

TAXO’D was thrilled at the experience level the COAX Team presented. TAXO’D presented the challenges it was facing with its current technology. The client pointed out some of their main concerns with the existing application and how they would like to see it improved, including:

Implementation of React.js components.
Put into effect Node.js, Meteor.js, and D3.js adding scalable runtime environments.
Create a modular-based tax return filing system.

The client needed a full-stack team of developers capable of building a new product from the ground up.
