Customer profile
A greenhouse business in Western Ukraine grows herbs across six hectares. The farm ran on paper logs and scattered spreadsheets. Owners couldn't check crop status without visiting the site.
COAX built them a connected farming platform first: sensors, dashboards, and remote visibility. As the business grew, it added storage space and more buyers. That growth pushed the client past what a farm-monitoring app could handle. They needed to track physical stock, not just crop conditions.
The original problem was visibility. Crop yields, environmental data, and resource use sat in disconnected paper records. Owners had no way to check production without a site visit.
COAX Software solved that with real-time sensors and dashboards. Once the farm scaled up, a second problem appeared. Herbs moved from greenhouse to storage to buyer with no tracking in between. Nobody could say how much stock sat in which bin, and batches went missing during peak harvest.
Order fulfillment still ran on phone calls and manual checks. A sales team member checked shelves by hand before confirming any order. Supplier deliveries and buyer shipments weren't linked to real inventory counts. That gap led to overselling, late shipments, and wasted
product. The client needed one system to carry a batch from field to warehouse floor to delivery. To fulfill this goal, they brought the COAX team back to the next active build phase.
We started with production. IoT sensors across the greenhouse capture temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and crop stage. LPWAN connects every sensor across the site, even where cell signal is weak. In six weeks, we shipped an MVP with real-time dashboards and a financial module for invoices and payments.
As the farm added storage and buyers, we extended the platform into inventory and supply chain. Every storage bin got an RFID tag, and BLE beacons marked each warehouse zone. A crop batch now carries its identity from harvest through storage to shipment, instead of three disconnected records.
On top of that inventory layer, we built a supply chain module. It tracks purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and outbound shipments against live stock counts. A sales coordinator confirms an order in the app, without a walk to the warehouse. Buyers get accurate delivery windows instead of guesses.
We rounded out the CRM layer to track buyer and supplier history, average order size, and procurement cost. Together, these modules turned a six-hectare farm into one traceable operation, from seed to shipment.

Key features

Business outcomes
The warehouse and supply chain build changed how the farm operates day to day. Stock location, order status, and shipment timing now live in one system. What used to take a phone call to the warehouse takes a glance at a screen.
Misplaced-batch incidents fell 38% in the first quarter after RFID and beacon tracking went live. Spoilage from aging, untracked stock is down by nearly a third.
The original connected farming platform already delivered strong gains: revenue up 14%, yield up 15%, resource waste down 25%. The supply chain expansion compounded those results. The farm now fulfills more orders with the same headcount, and onboarding a new buyer takes days instead of weeks.
The client's largest buyer cited the platform's delivery accuracy directly in its contract renewal. The farm is now in talks to extend the same warehouse and supply chain system to a second, larger storage facility.
