Document and contract management
Centralizing agreements, renewal dates, and service tiers in one system so administrative overhead doesn't scale with the number of partners or clients managed.
Dynamic supplier and carrier scoring
Continuously updating a vendor's reliability rating using every shipment, delay, and recovery as new input, replacing a static rating set once at onboarding.
Emissions and carbon reporting
Calculating environmental output per route and vehicle type - factoring vehicle specs, distance, and fuel type - and feeding that data into compliance reports and, in some markets, automated carbon-tax calculation.
Entity coverage
A question to ask of any risk-platform API before evaluating its dashboard: does it fully expose supplier events, shipment status, and compliance records, or only part of the entity model?
Environmental and climate risk
A supply chain risk category covering natural disasters and long-term climate shifts that damage infrastructure or threaten shipping channels directly, not just as forecasted future events.
Execution information
Operational data (warehouse scans, order records, and time logs) that tells a system what happened but which only becomes useful once correlated against external context.
Explainability (AI)
The degree to which a platform's forecasts and risk scores come with a traceable reason, letting a team understand why a recommendation was made rather than trusting a black box.
External context
Market-facing data - carrier rates, demand signals, benchmarks - that gives execution data meaning; neither category alone tells a team whether current performance is normal.
Financial risk (supply chain)
Risk that erodes margin without halting operations, including raw-material price volatility, inflation pressure, and currency exposure from global sourcing.
