What is required of a new teammate?
- at least 2 years of commercial experience as a BA;
- a confident B2 level of spoken English;
- general understanding of the work of outsourcing IT companies (from sales to product release);
- requirements elicitation / gathering / specification / prioritisation techniques (create project documentation from scratch using existing templates);
- familiarity with web & mobile development tech stack (React, React Native, RoR, Python, AWS, Webflow, IOS, Node.js);
- experience in discovery phases (participating or leading);
- basics of business modelling (at least one of BPMN, UML, workflows, mind maps);
- cool presentation and communication skills and other soft skills: initiative, a bit of autonomy, and the ability to explain complex things simply.
Will be a plus:
- prototyping and wireframing skills (figma, whimsical, etc.)
- Product Owner & business analyst official certifications
During the discovery phase, your tasks will be:
- participate in all product preparation activities during the research and pre-sales phases;
- identify and document functional and non-functional requirements and constraints;
- analyze competitors and business domains;
- participate in interviews with users;
- create all necessary documentation, prototypes, models, and diagrams;
- prepare emails.
As for the tasks in the next stages:
- manage the project backlog;
- identify, collect, and define requirements;
- create and maintain project documentation;
- communicate with the development team and other stakeholders, be a bridge between the business and the team;
- create tasks/User Stories with AC based on requirements;
- define and set priorities;
- develop and set intermediate goals for the team;
- check/accept the work performed;
- participate in release planning.
P.S. In case of remote cooperation, the vacancy requires a location in Ukraine and regular business trips to Ivano-Frankivsk to join the team.
