The Business Analyst will be involved in projects of different domains 🙌

What is required of a new teammate?

- At least 2 years of commercial experience;

- English level B2 or higher;

- Full understanding how software outsourcing business works (from sales to delivery);

- Requirements elicitation / gathering / specification / prioritization techniques (create project documentation from scratch using existing templates);

- Continuous market & product analysis and improvement;

- Business modelling (at least one of BPMN, UML, workflows, mind maps);

- Good presentation & communication skills;

- Experience in discovery phases (participating or leading);

- Proactivity and creative thinking, openness, confidence, time management, autonomy;

- Super Important - Customer Service, presentation skills;

- Ability to explain complex things with simple words.


Would be a plus:

- Prototyping & wireframing (figma, whimsical etc.);

- Familiarity with web & mobile development tech stack (React, React Native, RoR, Python, AWS, Webflow, IOS, Node Js);

- Product Owner & business analyst official certifications;


During project delivery as BA:

- Manage project/product backlog;

- Gather and specify requirements;

- Create & Maintain project/product documentation;

- Communicate with the development team and other stakeholders, actively participate in team discussions as a communication bridge between the business and development team;

- Create task/user stories with acceptance criteria based on requirements;

- Identify and set up priorities;

- Elaborate and set up Intermediate Goals for the team;

- Done work verification/acceptance;

- Participate in release planning.

During the pre-sale & discovery phase as BA

- Participate in all product definition activities during discovery phases & pre-sale activities;

- Identify and document functional, and non-functional requirements and constraints;

- Conduct Competitor & business domain analysis;

- Participate in user interviews;

- Create all necessary documentation, wireframes, models and diagrams;

- Estimates preparation.

P.S. In case of remote cooperation, the vacancy requires a location in Ukraine and regular business trips to Ivano-Frankivsk to join the team.

Introduction

This stage aims to clarify the details of your CV and assess your level of spoken English. Our recruiter will contact you at a convenient time for you. In an open dialogue format, you will be able to get answers to all questions about work organization, project specifics, company benefits, and, in general, ensure that we have a friendly working environment and an individual approach to every teammate.

Technical interview

This stage involves determining the level of your hard skills and their relevance to job requirements. Coax Software values our time and the time of each candidate. That is why, we do not send a test task without necessity. Instead, we try to determine the technical level of every candidate during in-person meetings or video calls with our technical lead.

Interview with the CEO

At this stage, acquaintance with the company founders takes place giving an opportunity to obtain detailed information about the company from the original source in an open dialogue mode. This approach is driven by the fact that at Coax Software we select candidates for our team not for the period of the project, but solely with the expectation of long-term cooperation.
