COAX Software Earns ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Blog cover

On July 15, 2021, COAX Software announced the successful completion of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015 Certification – an international standard for information security management.

Certification process

The process of certification is a two stages activity, the internal certification and external. The internal preparation involved establishing an on-site Information Security Management department, which required implementing best practices for information security, and developing security documentation which is mandatory by ISO/IEC 27001:2013 requirements.

The external certification stage entailed a comprehensive process including documentation reviews that addressed all ISO criteria as well as a three-day on-site audit.

Value for COAX Software clients

For COAX Software as well as for our partners, the maintenance of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification assures that business operations and corporate information are secured against any foreseeable contingency, whether it be fire, flood, a hacking attack, data loss, a system breach, or something else.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is a monolith proof that information exchanges are protected in any form, from computer data transfers to public conversations. This certification confirms the security of physical perimeters as well as limited access to corporate facilities along with initial personnel screening.

A major benefit of  ISO 9001:2015 is that it provides a clear framework for COAX to have a far more robust but flexible management system which will help become more resilient and flexible.
